Club Repair Services
Most of your
general golf repair or regripping needs can be met right here at the Portland
Golf Club. However, more extensive repairs may require us to outsource
or send it back to the original manufacturer. Either way, we guarantee
all work and will do our best to get you the fastest turn around time on
the needed work.
Since there
are dozens of styles of grips and shafts, the prices below reflect just
the labor and labor related costs. Please add the cost of your choice
of grip or shaft to the price listed. We have grip samples of some
of the more favorite styles and catalogs showing a larger variety of grips
and shafts.
Regripping
One of the best
things that you can do for your game is to have your clubs regripped ona
regular basis. When you swing a golf club, the downward force is
anywhere from 40 to 60 pounds of pressure and the club head is hitting
the ball with about 1 ton of force. Your golf grip must be in good
shape for you to control this force and pressure.

Reshaft Services
Choosing the proper shaft can help you
get the most out of your swing, especially when it comes to graphite shafts.
Flex is just one of the shaft characteristics that you should consider.
Weight, bend point, length, and torque also play a roll in getting a proper
direction and ball flight.
